There's something for everyone in this sumptuous collection of imagery -- the natural beauty of the male form, the invitation to fantasize, the subtle undertones of darkness and the forbidden, the power of the overtly erotic. Here the male body is celebrated for style as well as for content, its beauty expressed through a visual language that owes as much to the raw power of hardcore as the purity of the classical aesthetic. Working on location and in the studio, Julian Hargreaves demonstrates an impressive vision and technique. He controls the camera like a film director, exploring every last nuance of detail and context as he creates an entirely new approach to photographing the male nude.
